As you probably know, the new OnePlus 3T was announced this week, replacing last year’s model, which has already been discontinued in Europe and the United States. Even though at a first look it doesn’t look very different, since it’s basically the same design, things change on the inside, where the handset features some pretty serious improvements.
The Chinese manufacturer released a short promo video, revealing all the new things that make the Oneplus 3T one of the best Android handsets of the moment!
Of course, one of the most impressive changes brought by the OnePlus 3T is the Dash Charge, which enables the 3400 mAh battery to go from 1% to fully charged in just 90 minutes. However, if you can’t wait for that much, let it charge for 30 minutes and you will get a full day’s worth of battery.
The spec sheet is completed by a Snapdragon 821 chipset, with four cores running at 2.35 GHz, alongside 6 GB of RAM and 128 gigs of internal storage. The camera department wasn’t forgotten also, since we’re not dealing with just one 16 MP sensor, but two. Yes, both the rear and front facing cameras are using the same sensor, meaning that your selfies will look awesome!
The fingerprint scanner is also present, embedded in the physical home button, while the OnePlus 3T’s aluminum build confirms that this is a solid device, able to deal with some light drops. Oh, and let’s not forget about the USB Type-C port!
If you’re planning to get your hands on this phone, you need to wait for a few more days, until November 22, when it will be available on the manufacturer’s website, in Gunmetal. A SoftGold version will be out later.
The starting price is $439, for the 64 GB version, while the 128 GB model will set you back of $479.
