We’re looking forward to seeing a couple of very interesting Nokia flagship smartphones during the MWC 2017, so each detail about these devices is more than welcome!
Recently, a couple of images with two presumed smartphones made the rounds online, but they turned out to be just some concepts. However, even though we don’t know anything about the design, we do have some information about the specs.
First of all, we have a real powerhouse, with a Snapdragon 835 chipset under the hood, aided by 6 GB of RAM, so we’re definitely looking at the Finnish company’s flagship for 2017. In terms of camera, Nokia won’t disappoint either, loading the phone with a big 23 MP sensor, with Carl Zeiss lens. As for the operating system, it will be Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat.
The rumours are pointing to this phone being introduced as Nokia Z2, but right now, there’s nothing official about this.
Moving on to the second Nokia handset which will make its debut at MWC 2017, we do know its name: Nokia C1. It’s running the same chipset, Snapdragon 835, but alongside 4 GB of RAM, instead of 6. However, the most interesting feature is the camera setup, consisting in a 16/12 MP duo, as well as a triple-LED flash, red laser to assist the auto-focus and xenon flash. Nokia Lumia 102 deja-vu, anyone?
The Nokia C2 should come with 32, 64 or 128 GB of storage, being powered by a 3,210 mAh battery and running the latest version of Android, 7.0 Nougat.
Our advice is to take everything with a pinch of salt, since no official source confirmed these rumours. However, if they turn out to be true, brands like Samsung, LG, HTC, Motorola or Huawei will find in Nokia a real competitor.
Keep an eye on our site, as we will be back with more information on this topic as soon as anything new comes out!
