Nokia managed to build a lot of hype around its name lately, after releasing the first Android handset from the new ‘HMD era’. However, the Nokia 6, because this is the phone we’re talking about, was just a mid-ranger, since the Finnish company is planning to release a few more smartphones, including a flagship, during next month’s Mobile World Congress!
However, until this will happen, a lot of designers are using their imagination in order to develop a couple of very interesting concepts. For example, Concept Creator, known for creating the Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 concepts, revealed an incredibly good looking Nokia P1 concept, based on the rumors about the upcoming handset.
The smartphone was presented in a video, which doesn’t contain a lot of details about it, but it does mention that the Nokia P1 will come with a 22.3 MP camera on the back, 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of on board storage.
Moving on, the same concept reveals a hybrid SIM slot at the bottom of the left side of the device, while the rear camera also features a triple LED flash. As for the right edge of the device, it houses a lock/unlock button and volume controllers.
Taking a look at the bottom of the phone we can observe the 3.5 mm audio jack, external speaker and a USB Type-C port. Also, the physical home button is present and, most likely, has a fingerprint scanner underneath it.
Design-wise, the Nokia P1 concept look like it’s made entirely out of metal, rocking a 5.3″ QHD IGZO display, provided by Sharp. The battery should have a capacity of 3500 mAh, while the operating system will definitely be Android 7.0 Nougat, customized with Nokia’s own interface.
For the moment, there’s no confirmation about this handset making its debut at 2017’s MWC, in Barcelona. Some sources are also claiming that the P1 could also be introduced somewhere in the second half of the year, but again, nothing official about this either. However, we will be back with more details about this smartphone, as soon as anything new hits the web!
