Nokia was deficient of positive-impact in the Smartphone market previously and now, as a come-back they have announced about their new launch ‘Nokia 6’, their first-ever smartphone, which is supported with the latest version of Android. It is expected that the Nokia 6 would be launched by ‘January 9’ and subsequently the HMD needled that a true flagship device would be coming on ‘February 26’ to the smartphone industry, at the MWC 2017.
The expected flagship device is obscured, but based on the revelations, it’s revealed that it will be known with a code name ‘Nokia Supreme’ and would be launched in the market as ‘Nokia 8’, since the Nokia 6 seems to be the code name on its first smartphone overture.
Now it’s made clear that the Nokia 8’s display will be of flat-screen and not curved one, as many allegations stated previously. Thus, we can expect a large 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display along with a QHD resolution (2560*1440 pixels).
As of now, the HMD has announced that the new awaiting Smartphone Nokia 8 will be wrapped with a Snapdragon 821 powered-version processor. But there is also a conjecture heard about the processor because it been revealed/leaked that it would be enhanced with the latest version of Qualcomm’s processor ‘Snapdragon 835 chip’. In further, the phone will be encompassed with powerful 24 MP rear camera with OIS, along with super EIS and a 12 MP on the secondary one; since, it’s vital to add a good front camera for the present generation.
Another interesting speculation is that, it will pack-up two different storage specs, on different versions within it. One with 64 GB storage and the other with 128 GB storage, where both will be expandable via micro SD up to 256 GB. Moreover, it is expected to carry the latest Android version, 7.0 Nougat.
Since, the Nokia 6, which encased a Snapdragon 430, didn’t have a good welcome, rumors passes-on that the Nokia Supreme (Nokia 8) would overwhelm it by providing Snapdragon 835 in it. Therefore, with an advanced 10-nano meter design, finally Qualcomm’s newest featured modem Snapdragon 835 chip would likely go with this Nokia 8.
HMD did not explicitly mention that the phone will have a Snapdragon 835 processor, whereas speculations still grip on it.
