According to previous reports, Nokia has some big plans for this year’s Mobile World Congress, where they’re planning to release three new smartphones, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and the Nokia 8 flagship, as well as a rebooted version of the legendary Nokia 3310 feature phone.
Today, we’re focusing a bit on the Nokia 3, considering the fact that its specs were already leaked and we can make an idea about what to expect from it!
With a price tag of around 149 Euros, there’s no doubt that this will be a mid-range smartphone, fact confirmed by the leaked specs! To be more specific, we’re talking about a 5.2″ or 5.3″ display, rocking an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 chip, with four cores clocked at 1.4 GHz.
The processor will be aided by 2 GB of RAM and an Adreno 308 GPU, while the internal storage capacity should count just 16 GB. Hopefully, the Nokia 3 will also feature a microSD card slot, because 16 gigs is a bit too low, even for a mid-ranger.
Finally, the Nokia 3 will come with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing one, while the operating system will be, of course, Android 7.0 Nougat, slightly customized with the Finnish company’s own interface, according to some leaked images.
Nokia announced a special event for February 26, at MWC 2017, in Barcelona, where we will hopefully see a couple of new smartphones, perfect for helping the company which was once dominating the market start making a name for itself once again.
