HMD Global, successfully launched the streamlined Nokia 3310 in India, marking the revival of the former phone giant, of late. Following it, now the company has officially launched three new Nokia smartphones in India, the Nokia 3, 5 and 6. While, the Nokia 3 and 5 are primed to be purchased offline, the Nokia 6 will go for sale on Amazon India exclusively, with some attractive discounts.
The Nokia 3, sports a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 pixels, with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on top; and is driven by MediaTek MT6737 processor, with a 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Its cameras consists an 8 megapixel sensor in the rear and an 8 megapixel one for the selfie, with auto-focus. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat; and is packed with 2630 mAh battery.
Moreover, the body of the device is made out of a, combination of aluminium for the side frame and poly-carbonate for the back. This is the cheapest of the three, and is put up with the price tag of INR 9,499 ($147). The device will be available starting from June 16th, only in offline stores.
The Nokia 5 has got a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display, providing a resolution of 720 pixels, with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The device features Android 7.1.1 Nougat; and Snapdragon 430, coupling a 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The frame is structured with a single piece of aluminium. Priced at INR 12,899 ($200), its cameras are adorned with 13 MP and 8 MP sensors; whereas the battery is a 3000 mAh one.
The Nokia 6, which is exclusively available on Amazon, is priced INR 14,999 ($233). The device looks neat, with the 5.5-inch IPS LCD display, with 1080 pixel resolution. The device is made out of solid blocks of aluminium and glass; while the display is sculpted with Corning Gorilla Glass. The internals are Snapdragon 430; 3GB RAM; 32GB of expandable storage; and 3000 mAh battery.
Coming to the camera, there are 16 MP and 8 MP sensors on the rear and front, respectively. As mentioned, the Nokia 6 will be available on Amazon India, for which the registrations starts on July 14th. One more great news is that the Amazon Prime customers can avail a discount of INR 1000 and other, who sign-up for the Amazon Kindle app, are offered a 80% off on E-books up to INR 300.
