Following the launch of the Nokia 6, which sets the foundation of Nokia’s Android devices, there has been rumors that the smartphone company in conjunction with HDM Global is set on launching the Nokia 8 smartphone along with the Nokia P1 which is set to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress later in February, the smartphone company is additionally releasing an eye-popper in the form of its first 18.4-inch tablet.
The Nokia branded tablets as spotted on GFXBench by NokiaPowerUser, sports impressive specs including the 18.4-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset running under the hood. The octa-core processor clocked at a speed of 2.2GHz is fitted with Adreno 540 GPU and with it comes a whopping 4 GB of RAM.
The tablet which is expected to make an official appearance soon is fitted with an on board storage memory of 52 GB according to information on the leak and which suggests that Nokia along with HDM will be packing the device with 64 GB of on board storage size.
The Nokia branded tablet will also be rolling out with the Android 7.0 Nougat OS along with 12-megapixel camera on the rear panel with Ultra HD video recording support boasted at a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The rear camera is also equipped with LED flash and auto focus feature. On the front panel, the device sports the same 12 MP camera with the same video resolution although it is lacking in the LED flash light department.
Other specs in terms of connectivity as spotted on the information leak revealed that the Nougat powered tablet will be layered with Android FIH Edition on top along with support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi,Bluetooth, Compass, GPS and NFC.
