In the era of smartphones, we have almost forgotten the feature phones, but thanks to Nokia, who brings them back to us. I know Nokia has already launched the very famous, Nokia 3310 (2017) but surely it wasn’t an attempt to bring back feature phones. But now, with the launch of Nokia 105 and Nokia 130, we believe that Nokia is back in full spin. One thing to notice here is, both announced phones run on Nokia S30+ platform.
Talking about Nokia 105, the feature phone comes with a 1.8 inch TFT color display with few preloaded games like Snake Xenzia. It only supports 2G network and bundled up with an 800 mAh battery, which company claims to give 15 hours of talk time. Now, you are allowed to save only 2,000 contacts and only 5,00 SMSs in the phone, which is damn low if you use a smartphone, but well, it is a feature phone, don’t expect much.
Now, coming to the Nokia 130, which is an improved version of Nokia 105 with an internal memory of 32GB and also supports a microSD card for more storage. This phone comes with same 1.8 inch TFT display with few preloaded games like Snake Xenzia. Like 105, this phone also supports 2G but it powers on 1020 mAh battery, which company claims of giving 11.5 hours of video playback and 44 hours of music play.
Additionally, this Nokia 130 has Bluetooth, a Flashlight and a VGA camera at its back. As far as pricing is concerned, Nokia 105 gets a price tag of $15 (around Rs 1,000) and the Nokia 130 gets a price tag of $21.5 (around Rs 1,400).
