Lenovo’s ZUK Edge handset is closer and closer and the manufacturer keeps releasing teasers, giving us hints about what to expect from it. Yesterday, for example, an official teaser released by the company basically confirmed the launch date, which is December 7. Yes, we’re just a few hours away from finally seeing this new smartphone!
Today, another teaser image was spotted online, revealing the ZUK Edge will be available in Black, besides a few extra colours, and reconfirming the launch event, scheduled for December 7.
As for the specs, even though nothing about them was made official, it seems that the handset will pack a pretty serious amount of processing power! To be more specific, we’re talking about Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 system-on-chip, with a quad-core configuration, as well as an impressive amount of RAM, 6 GB.
Moving on, the ZUK Edge should be available in a single storage variant, with 64 GB of space, but there’s nothing about the presence or the lack of a microSD card slot.
The camera department is represented by a 13 MP snapper on the back, as well as an 8 MP unit on the front, perfect for taking some high quality selfies. Finally, the battery is said to have a capacity of 3000 mAh, which should be enough for a full day of intensive use.
The ZUK Edge will come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, but customized with the manufacturer’s own user interface.
