An unnamed Motorola’s device (XT1789) appeared on GFXBench and experts believe that it is the most awaited Moto X4, also known as Moto X 2017. However, some experts also believe that this could be some other device, on which Motorola is working.
Now, the current leaked specs say that the Moto X4 will have a 5.0 inch full HD display while previously leaked specs were saying that the device would have a 5.2 inch full HD display. However, we can’t be sure that Motorola is planning to come up with either 5.0 or 5.2-inch display, as we have seen plenty of times that benchmarks get wrong display size details.
The current leaks also suggest that the device will get a Snapdragon 630 chipset with 3GB of RAM, which is also far different from the previous leaks. Earlier, the leaks said that the Moto X4 would get Snapdragon 660 chipset and 4GB of RAM. Similarly, the current leaks suggest this device will get a 3000 mAh battery which also different from previous reports of having 3800 mAh battery.
As far as the camera is concerned, the latest leaks say that the phone will be a selfie-oriented device with a 16MP front camera and 12MP back camera. The plus point is, the 12MP back camera will be capable of capturing 4K videos, which remains missing in most of the Moto devices. Additionally, the device will get all the necessary sensors like accelerometer, proximity, pedometer, gyroscope, light sensors, GPS, compass, NFC etc. The leaked device found running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
