Last year, Lenovo and Motorola introduced the Moto G4, sporting a more than decent spec sheet, but it’s obviously that now it’s time for an update, so we’re all looking forward to seeing the Moto G5, a handset expected to make its debut as soon as next month, according to some rumors.
However, like always, we already have a few details about the phone’s specs, thanks to a Brazilian website! The folks over at Technoblog spotted a device called Moto G5 XT1672 listed in the database of a major retailer! Also, this is not everything, since the specs were also listed!
To be more specific, the Moto G5 should come with a 5.0″ display, rocking a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, as well as a Snapdragon 430 chip under the hood, aided by 2 GB of RAM. Also, the internal storage capacity will count just 32 GB, but, thanks to the presence of a microSD card slot, it can be easily expanded. Finally, the leak mentions a 13 MP camera on the back, 5 MP sensor on the front and a 2800 mAh battery, while the operating system is Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat.
However, Motorola and Lenovo could be launching a second version of this phone as well, going by the name of Moto G5 Plus, with a 1080p 5.5″ display, being powered by a Snapdragon 625 chip.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any images with the regular G5, but it should be a smaller version of the Moto G5 Plus, which was leaked recently.
