Moto G5 Exclusive Hands-On Images Leaked Ahead of Offical launch

In 2017, two flagships of the Motorola phones are said to be getting unveiled; as usual we had many rumour mills to leak-out the features and specifications of them. Adding to it, now we have some freshly leaked images of the Moto G5, which confers its stylish design.

However in the case of Moto G5 Plus, plenty of its leaked images and specs, were already out. The previous rumour stated that the G5 Plus will have a 5.2-inches touch screen display, but it rather sports a 5-inch screen, according to this new image. The yester year’s flagships from the company such as G4 and G4 Plus had the same difference in their display size; they are in 5.2 and 5.5-inch respectively.

From the newly leaked pictures, the G5 seems to have a metal mould on the rear panel. The back case would probably be a removable one, for easy battery replacements, though the previous versions (G4) had a non-removable case. Hence as in the G5, the G5 Plus is also expected to come-up with the same feature of removable battery.

The device also has a LED flash under its camera sensor in the leaked images. In the front, a physical home-button along with a fingerprint scanner is seen. There is a slight change-over with the external form of the fingerprint scanner; the previous version (G4) had a square-shaped one, but its successor G5, now has an oval-shaped fingerprint scanner.

Both G5 and G5 Plus have similar display-textures, but there are differences in their hardware specs.

Few features of G5 from its leaked specs are: it would be powered by a Snapdragon 430 chipset, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB native storage, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front shooter and a 2,800mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Moto G5 Plus would feature a Snapdragon 625 chipset, 2 GB RAM, 64 GB native storage, 12MP dual autofocus rear camera, 5 MP front camera, NFC and a 3000mAh battery.

Whereas, they both come with a water-repellent coated chassis.

Other details from the leaked images and reports, say that the device would run on the Android 7.0 Nougat  and the text in the image was in Spanish language. Finally, the Moto G5 and G5 Plus are expected to be officially launched on February 26th of this year and would bear a price tag of $200 and $250.
