After an unimpressive year, Meizu finally managed to remind the whole world that they still exist with the Pro 6 Plus, a handset released by the end of 2016. However, they’re not done yet, as they’re currently planning to take everything one step further, with their upcoming flagship, the Meizu Pro 7.
According to the latest rumors, the device was supposed to make its debut in 2016, but it’s not one of the first ones expected to be introduced by Meizu this year. To be more specific, we should see the final version somewhere in June. As we’re looking forward to this, considering that the spec sheet will be more than impressive!
The Meizu Pro 7 is rumored to rock a titanium build, making it one of the toughest smartphones on the market, but it’s the spec sheet where things go completely wild. Some sources are pointing to a 5.7″ display, with a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, with support for AOD display technology. Also, under the hood, it should have MediaTek’s latest Helio X30 chip, alongside three different RAM + storage combinations: 4 GB and 64 GB, 6 GB and 128 Gb, and, finally, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB. That’s right, 8 GB of RAM on a smartphone!
Other details aren’t available right now, but we do know the prices: CNY 3299, CNY 3599 and CNY 3799 for the three versions, meaning that if you want to get your hands on the Meizu Pro 7, you’ll have to prepare at least $480.
However, it’s worth mentioning that all the information presented above doesn’t come from official sources, so our recommendation is to avoid taking it for granted, since the final version of the Meizu Pro 7 might have different specs.
