The Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus, seems to be consistently hitting the rumor mills, as they are presumably all set for official launch. In that note, here comes a new leak today, revealing their launch date, prices, availability and even some of the specs of the devices.
Very recently, we’ve seen compelling rumors stating that the Pro 7 will be launched on July 26th. The new leak confirms the launch date and goes in further, alleging that the phone will go on sales, starting from August 4th, after the official launch. But, mind that the company haven’t spilled any official words about a launch date, yet.
Going further, the leak has something crucial to hint about. Yes, the pricing details. Accordingly, the Pro 7 would cost 2799 Yuan ($409 approx) and 3299 Yuan ($484 approx) for the lower and higher storage variants of the phone. Whereas, it is 3299 Yuan (around $484) and 3799 Yuan (around $555) for the Meizu Pro 7 Plus. The prices seems to be overly hyped, and rather seems, no to turn out to be the actual one.
Coming to the specs, the Meizu Pro 7 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch display (a 5.2-inch one is also in the rumors); powered by Meida Tek Helio X30 chipset; and dual Sony IMX386 + IMX286 rear camera and a 16MP selfie shooter. Further, the device will also feature the Meizu’s trademark mBack home button and the fast charging technology.
However, we can’t get away without mentioning the secondary E-ink display, on the back side of the device, which will show notifications, date, time, etc. The Meizu Pro 7 Plus will sport a bigger display screen than the Pro 7. As mentioned earlier, all this aforementioned things are still leaks. We’ll have to wait for some more time to know the full information, officially.
