Finally, Meizu has announced the launch date for the much awaited Meizu Pro 7 and well, as expected the device and its another version gets a secondary display on its back. As of now, no other specification has been disclosed by the company but it is believed that the specifications would be similar to what we got in leaks.
Meizu’s invite for the announcement event (on 26th July) of Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus confirms the secondary E-ink display on its back, similar to what we talked in leaked specifications. Another thing which got clear seeing the invite is, the Pro 7 Plus will only have a larger display and the remaining specs will be same as Pro 7.
As of now, we believe that the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus are getting MediaTek MT6799 Helio X30 chipset coupled up with 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal storage. As far as the camera is concerned, it is believed that both the devices would get a 12 MP of Sony sensor at their back and 16MP at their front.
Now, talking about the display, it is believed that the Pro 7 would get a 5.2 inch super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and the another version Pro 7 Plus would get a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with same glass protection technology. Few other leaks have said that the Pro 7 Plus may get a 2K display.
Additionally, both devices would support USB Type C, OTG, the display embedded fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack. As far as price is concerned, it is believed that Pro 7 would get a price tag of 2,799 Yuan (around Rs 27,000) and Pro 7 Plus would get a price tag of 3,299 Yuan (around Rs 32,000).
