We’re still looking forward to the official announcement of the Meizu M5s, as the Chinese manufacturer’s upcoming handset has already cleared TENAA, not to mention the benchmark listings confirming it and giving us a few details about the specs.
However, things were incomplete without a few leaked images with the smartphone, but this is no longer an issue, since a few of them were spotted on Weibo, showing both the back and front of the Meizu M5s.
You must agree that the phone looks very good, thanks to the metal build, with smooth edges! Even though there’s so sign of a fingerprint scanner on the back, it will most likely be embedded in the physical home button on the front.
Spec-wise, the Meizu M5s will come with a 5.2″ display, rocking an HD resolution, while under the hood we’re looking forward to seeing a MediaTek MT6753 chip, with an octa-core configuration, clocked at 1.3 GHz.
Also, rumors claim that it will be available in three different variants: 2 GB of RAM and 16 gigs of storage, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB, and 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of space.
Moving on, the camera department will be represented by a 13 MP/5 MP duo, while the spec sheet should be completed by a 2,930 mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Even though this isn’t confirmed, the Meizu M5s could have a price tag of RMB 999, which roughly translates to $145, which is incredibly affordable, considering the phone’s looks and specs.
