Recently, the Meizu M5, a really good looking entry-level handset, made its official debut, but it seems that the Chinese manufacturer has bigger plans for it! Over the past few days, a new variant of this handset was spotted on Geekbench and AnTutu, while today, a set of images with it was spotted on Weibo.
Apparently, it was the upcoming Meizu M5 Note, a metal-clad device, expected to have a display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Even though we don’t know anything about the size of the screen yet, AnTuTu reveals that it’s going to feature a MediaTek Helio P10 chip under the hood, with an octa-core configuration. The processor will be aided by a Mali-T860 GPU, as well as 3 GB of RAM, while the internal storage capacity counts 32 GB.
The same source claims that the Meizu M5 Note will have a 13 MP rear-facing camera, teaming up with a 5 MP front snapper, perfect for selfies and video chatting. As for the operating system, it’s going to be Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The phone should make its official debut in the next days, so we will be back with more details about it.
