Meizu M3E

You may have heard about Meizu’s upcoming Blue Charm series and that they are known for offering great specs at really affordable prices. And today, Meizu has just launched its latest mid-ranger Meizu M3E and it doesn’t disappoint. It follows the same formula: best specs at affordable prices.

This Meizu models differs slightly from the previous gen handsets and it has an all-metal premium design complete with a nano injection molding process. However, the two antennas situated at the top and bottom give it a less premium appearance. It will feature a 5.5 inch with 1080 px in resolution

The handset comes in five colors: Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Moonlight Silver, Sky Grey and Glacier Blue. The Glacier Blue is a new color option in the history of Meizu smartphone models.

The Meizu M3E measures 153.6 x 75.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs about 172 grams which makes it quite a heavy device. It’s also powered by an octa-core Helio P10 processor which is a common processor found in many mid-range devices. It will feature 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage space.

In terms of camera, it also comes with a 13 MP rear one with fast focus and an aperture lens of f/2.2 plus a dual-tone LED flash. We can see the same type of camera on the Redmi Pro. However, the Pro version also has a 5 MP depth sensor from Samsung. The front side of the device features a 5 MP f/2.0 aperture complete with a FotoNation 2.0 app for taking awesome selfies.

As for the battery, it sports a 3100 mAh one which supports fast charging tech and Meizu claims that the device charges up to 50 % in only 30 minutes. In 60 minutes, the handset will be charged at 90%. It also features a fingerprint reader that is said to unlock the device in only 0.2 seconds, which is pretty fast, and it also runs the Flyme OS which is based on the YunOS. Another interesting perk is that it can control cars.

Lastly, the Meizu M3E is priced at $195 (1299 yuan) and it will go on sale starting the 14th of August.
