LG’s Six New Mid-Range Smartphones Expected To Announce At CES 2017

One of the biggest technology events of 2017, the Consumer Electronics Show, or, simply put, CES, is getting closer and closer and we already know about some of the biggest players’ in the smartphone game plans for the show. To be more specific, we’re talking about LG, as the South Korean manufacturer is planning to release not one, not two, but six new mid-range smartphones during the event!

  • LG K3 2017
  • LG K4 2017
  • LG K8 2017
  • LG K10 2017
  • LG X calibur
  • LG Stylus 3

Let’s see what we can expect from each of these models….

The LG K3 2017 will feature a 4.5″ display, as well as a 5MP/2MP camera setup, while the 2100mAh battery will be powering this entry-level handset.

Moving on, we have the K4 2017, with a 4.7″ screen and an upgraded camera setup, consisting in an 8MP main shooter and a 5MP selfie unit, everything being powered by a 2500 mAh battery.

Next, we have the LG K8 2017, which comes with a 5″ 720p display, a 13 MP camera on the back, 5 MP secondary unit and the same 2500 mAh battery as the K4.

The 4th LG handset expected to make its debut at CES 2017 is the LG K10 2017, which seems to be the biggest member of the K series, with a 5.2″ 720p display, covered by 2.5D curved glass, the same material being found on the back of the phone. And there’s even more: the fingerprint scanner is present on the back of the phone, alongside rear-mounted buttons. The front facing 5MP camera will have a wide-angle, by the way, so it could be a selfie-centered model!

Another interesting handset is the LG X calibur (great name choice!), apparently a rugged device, with IP68 certification and military-standard durability. The battery has a capacity of 4100 mAh, so we’re expecting a pretty big display as well.

Finally, we have the LG Stylus 3, which will be introduced in the United States as the Stylo 3 plus, a smartphone with a 5.7″ display, teaming with a digital stylus. The main camera will have a 13 MP resolution, while the front-facing unit will stop at 5MP, but both of them will have an LED flash. The fingerprint scanner is also present, as well as the rear-mounted buttons, while the battery should have a capacity of 3200 mAh.

Besides these 6 handsets, LG will also release the X power 2, but during February’s Mobile World Congress, with a 5.5″ 720p display, 13MP main camera and 5MP wide-angle selfie unit, with a 4500 mAh battery.
