LG failed to get their hands on a batch of Snapdragon 835 chips for their upcoming G6 flagship, but this doesn’t mean that they won’t release a handset with Qualcomm’s high end processor under the hood!
Yes, ladies and gents, we’re talking about the LG V30, the manufacturer’s second flagship of 2017, which is expected to pack an impressive amount of power under the hood, the main attraction being the 835, according to the latest rumors.
Besides this, it seems that the LG V30 will feature a whooping 6 GB of RAM, a dual camera setup, just like the previous two models from the V series, and a new audio codec, able to deliver an even better audio experience.
However, speaking about the previous V20 and V10, it seems that the LG V30 won’t come with the secondary display, for showing notifications and other essential information, which was somehow the handsets’ main attraction.
Still, this doesn’t mean that LG isn’t planning to load this smartphone with other “mysterious features” instead. Unfortunately, there isn’t any information on this topic for the moment, but, hopefully, more details will be available soon.
The LG V30 could make its debut somewhere in the second half of 2017 and this totally makes sense, given that smartphones coming from other manufacturers than Samsung, with the Snapdragon 835 under the hood, won’t be released earlier than May or June, due to the lack of supply, created by Samsung’s massive acquirement.
