Supposedly, LG has been working on the next model in the V line, after the success registered by the first V10 smartphone which was released last year. This new model was rumored to be called LG V20 and recently all of the rumors concerning it were confirmed when LG Korea announced that the device is in the making.
It seems that the upcoming LG V20 will be launched in September (which is also the rumored release date) and more importantly, the device will come with the final build for Android 7.0 Nougat straight out of the box.
Android 7.0 Nougat is the latest Android OS from Google and it has only been released as a preview so far. According to Google’s release schedule for the OS, the final build version will be released either in the month of August or in the month of September.
The announcement made by LG Korea seems to confirm that we will be seeing the final build for Android 7.0 Nougat by September. Unfortunately, LG Korea hasn’t mentioned anything about the phone’s specs in the announcement but some tech bloggers have translated the text and it appears to suggest a dual camera for selfies.
The LG V10 was launched in 2015 and it had impressive specs at the time, and hopefully this upcoming LG V20 will be just as good. By impressive we refer to it being scratch-proof and water-resistant. Apart from that, it also had a dual front camera with multi angle shots just for selfies which makes it one of the best smartphones on the market for that purpose, a huge and removable 3000 mAh battery, 4k video recording with manual control and a secondary display for increased productivity. It’s also worth mentioning that the LG V10 had a microSD that allowed up to 2 TB of extra storage.
Stay close for the latest details regarding the new Android N update, these days will come to more devices which we will link together for a easier touch.
