On the first of August we got the chance to see some leaked specs for the future LG V20. Though everybody was happy to see some potential information on the upcoming phone, something seemed a bit off: LG would supposedly decrease the size and the resolution of the screen, which seems very implausible. This is why a new round of leaks, released today, seems to make more sense.
According to the new leaks, LG will keep the same screen size (5.7 inches) and resolution (1440×2560). Regarding its other specs, it seems that the company will run on a Snapdragon 820 processor, so it features an Adreno 530 GPU and a quadcore CPU. You will also supposedly receive 4 GB RAM and the device will include a secondary screen similar to the one chosen for the original model.
On the back of the device you will find a 21 MP camera and a dual front camera, just like the old V10. Of course, what other OS could this great phone have than the newest Android 7.0 Nougat, which will be pre-installed on it.
Everybody is expecting the V20 to be released somewhere during the next month, based on pretty much the same build as the V10. If it gets released in September, this means that it will directly compete with Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7. Moreover, if we think about the fact that LG G5 has been actually a fail on the market, no wonder LG will place all its bets on the next model. Let’s just wait and see how much LG wants to catch up with their rivals Samsung and Apple, who have been fighting for the first place on the market for months now, if not years.
This is what we know so far about LG V10, remains to be seen whether or not more will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for the latest information about the new LG device, we will update the article as soon as there are any more leaks.
