After T-Mobile announced that the LG V20 will soon be available in their offer, AT&T also joined the club, revealing that the handset, the first to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, will be offered in their stores.
The pre-orders will begin on October 7, on AT&T’s websites, as well as physical stores. The carrier announced that all DIRECTV and Uverse TV customers that port-in a new line of service will receive up to $695 in monthly credits if they decide to buy the LG V20 on AT&T Next or AT&T Next Every Year.
Even more, the carrier has another extra offer for anybody interested in acquiring the handset. Everybody who wants to get it with AT&T’s Netx pland will also have the possibility to get LG’s G Pad X 10.1 for as low as $0.99 per month, with a two-year deal. As for the V20, it will be available for $27.67 per month, for 30 months, through the same plan, or for $34.59 per month, for 24 months, through the AT&T Next Every Year plan.
We must admit that the handset is far from being affordable, but on the other side, it has an impressive spec sheet, being able to compete with any other high-end model released this year!
The LG V20 comes with a 5.7″ QHD display, being powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor, with a quad-core configuration, and aided by 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of expandable storage, thanks to the presence of a microSD card slot. Oh, and let’s not forget about the 2.1″ secondary display, with a 160 x 1040 resolution, perfect for showing notifications.
The camera setup is also very interesting, sporting two sensors, one counting 16 MP, with standard angle lens, with laser and phase-detection auto focus, as well as OIS, while the second has 8 MP and a 135-degree wide angle lens. The setup is completed by a dual-LED flash.
