When the LG lovers are waiting for V30, the company unveils the Q8, which seems as the mini version of V20. Sadly, the Q8 doesn’t have full vision display like Q6, but still, it gets the best 5.2 inches QHD display. One additional thing that Q6 doesn’t have, is the IP67 certification, which makes Q8 a water and dust resistant phone.
As far as other specifications are concerned, the Q8 has way more advanced features than the Q6, which is believed as the mini version of G6. The LG Q8 gets a 5.2-inch QHD display with 564 PPI pixel density. Now additionally, the phone also gets a secondary display like the V20 on the top of the primary display.
LG Q8 comes with Snapdragon 820 chipset, which is way more better than Q6’s Snapdragon 435 chipset. And talking about RAM and ROM, then unlike Q6, this phone is available in a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is an option of expanding the storage up to 256GB using a microSD card.
Coming to the camera, which is also very impressive in Q8, as the device has a dual rear camera, combining 13MP sensor with an 8MP sensor ( for wide angle photography ). With this dual setup camera, you can record 4K videos. It also has 5MP selfie camera, which supports 1080p recording.
Additionally, the phone gets a rear-mounted finger print scanner, USB Type C support, IP67 certification and more importantly, to power up, it has massive 3,000mAh battery. As far as price is concerned, it is believed that the phone would get a price tag of around 400 EUR, which is around Rs 30,000.
