LG is done with releasing high-end smartphones this year, but this doesn’t mean that we won’t see other new models in Q4 of 2016! According to GSM Arena, the next model expected to join the South Korean manufacturer’s portfolio is the LG LV5, whose design was already revealed by a set of leaked images!
It’s worth mentioning that there’s no guarantee that this is the handset’s real name, as it might change before the initial release, but for the moment, it’s everything we got.
As you can see, it will most likely feature a removable back cover, but this doesn’t guarantee the fact that it will come with a removable battery, a feature that most manufacturers are returning to right now.
Sticking on to the design of the LG LV5, it has curved edges, front and back, which is a very big plus, if we compare it with other mid-rangers that can be found right now on the market. And yes, the design might end up in being this handset’s main selling point!
On the back, we can spot a fingerprint scanner, a feature that is not specific just to flagships anymore, as a lot of mid-range handsets have it. Considering LG’s experience with this, the scanner might as well double as a power button, but again, this is just speculation.
Finally, there’s also an LED flash on the back, as well as speaker towards the bottom.
For the moment, this is pretty much everything we know about the LG LV5, but since this render made the rounds online, it won’t be long until more details about the phone, including a benchmark result, will be revealed.
Keep an eye on our blog, as we will be back on this topic as soon as anything new comes up!
