LG Globally announced LG Stylus 2 Plus

LG has launched a new upper-mid range phablet called as LG Stylus 2 Plus which is an upgraded version of the previous Stylus 2 phablet. The device comes with the same design as Stylus 2 but with improved specifications. This smartphone comes with 5.7-inch Full HD display which is quite an improvement to the previous version.

This device comes into two variants of 16GB and 32GB. Both variants runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with customized UX UI on the top. The upgraded specification includes the latest Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor of 1.4GHz. On the memory section it includes 2GB/3GB of RAM. The device storage can be further expanded upto 2TB. With the new Snapdragon 430 accompanied by enough RAM is a powerful combination and company have set their hopes high with the smooth and powerful performance this beast delivers. This device features dual SIM standby support for the users with multiple SIM cards.


Peeking to the camera section, the 16GB variant has 13MP primary shooter with 5MP front cam. And in the 32GB variants the rear camera is of 16MP while the front camera is of 8MP. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery which is quite enough for one day use. The connectivity options in this device are Cat.4  LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device measures about 155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm and weighs 146 grams.

The stylus of the phone is also very unique in its own way. LG says

The Stylus 2 Plus carries over the nano-coated stylus which provides the tactile feedback of a quality fountain pen when writing on the screen,

LG ships this device preinstalled with several Stylus apps like Pop Memo, Pop Scanner, Capture+, and Pen Keeper. LG offered LG Quick Cover for free for Indian customers, which features displaying notifications, caller ID, music playback controls and a few others. LG seems to continue the tradition thus the power switch is place on the back along with vertically placed volume buttons. In Taiwan Stylus 2 Plus is launched with the price tag of $340. LG has also revealed details about the availability of handset in other markets. Purchase of this phone has been started today in Taiwan and in other markets like Asia, Europe, North America, and South America, the device will be available for purchase in coming weeks.
