There are less than 10 days until the LG G6 will finally make its debut, so we weren’t surprised when a new set of live images with the actual handset made the rounds online.
As you can see, the phone is turned on, so we can check out how the Always-On display works, showing the time and date, as well as the battery capacity. However, we’re convinced that all this information can be customized, according to the user’s needs.
Also, the rumored rounded corners are there, while the minimal side bezels and the very small top bezel are a real delight for the eyes.
The back of the LG G6 is shiny – at least when it comes to this leaked version, and you can see the dual camera setup, alongside the fingerprint scanner. Finally, the G6 logo is present on the back of the phone, while the LG brand is on the front of the phone.
Besides the leaked images, the source gave us a few details about the specs of the phone, like we did not know pretty much about this already.
To be more specific, the LG G6 comes with a 5.7″ display, rocking a QHD+ resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels, a first for any smartphone. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 821 system-on-chip, with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable, thanks to the presence of a microSD card slot.
A 3,200 mAh battery keeps the lights on, while the spec sheet is completed by a quad-DAC audio codes, as well as water resistance. Speaking about water resistance, LG claimed, through a teaser, that their flagship will last more time under water, compared with other smartphones with the IP68 certification.
The LG G6 will be unveiled on February 26, during a special event held in Barcelona, during the MWC.
