After the last year’s grand success of the LG G Pad III 8.0 FHD, now LG has launched a new tablet under the G series, dubbed G Pad IV 8.0 FHD. The main highlight of the new tablet is its lightweight and dual window mode features.
Moreover, the new tablet sports an 8.0-inch display screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels; measures 216.2 x 127.0 x 6.9 mm; weighs 290 grams; and wears dark brown color option. The device is powered by Snapdragon 435 chipset with an Octa-Core 1.4GHz CPU, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to a whopping 2TB via microSD card.
For capturing your pleasant memories, the tablet sports a 5MP sensor for both the front and back cameras. Further, the new tablet supports a list of connectivity options, such as Bluetooth V4.2, Dual Bank (2.4/5GHz), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, MicroUSB, 4G LTE, Micro cast, etc. and runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. To have all these specs working, it packs a 3000 mAh battery.
As mentioned, it is slim, light, and easy to carry around; and the dual windows mode allows the users to use two different apps at a time. Further, it also features an easy-to-view mode, which will reduce soreness of the eyes, while watching the screen for a longer while. It can be evoked by the tablet’s Q button, placed on its right side.
As far as the pricing and availability are concerned, the tablet is put up with a tag reading KRW 352,000 (around $305) and is made available for purchase via LG U Plus in South Korea.
