Back in September, the all new Lenovo K6 Note was officially unveiled and, this week, is finally coming to India, according to a tweet sent today by the manufacturer. To be more specific, the handset will introduced on December 14, so there’s just two days left!
As you probably know, we’re talking about a mid-range handset, a perfectly natural choice for a developing market like India. The Lenovo K6 Note comes with a 5.5″ display, rocking a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Moving on to what’s under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm-made Snapdragon 430 system-on-chip, alongside 3 or 4GB of RAM, depending on the variant. In terms of internal storage, it has 32 gigs, with the option of expanding this capacity with up to 256 more, thanks to the presence of a micro SD card slot.
The rear camera is relying on a 16 MP sensor, with phase detection auto-focus and a dual-LED flash, while on the front, an 8 MP snapper will be in charge with taking the selfies.
Another feature of the Lenovo K6 Note worth mentioning is the Dolby Atmos audio enhancement technology, as well as the active noise cancellation, with a dedicated microphone. Also, it has a fingerprint scanner on the back, which is a very big plus! Unfortunately, there’s no USB Type-C connector, as the phone is using the good ol’ microUSB v2.0.
The battery – non-removable – has a capacity of 4000 mAh and it should last for a full day of intensive use with no problems at all.
Finally, the phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow, most likely cuGstomized with the manufacturer’s own interface, and will be available in Silver, Gold and Dark Grey. Right now, we don’t know anything about the price, but it should be available for a reliable sum, considering the specs.
