If you’re the lucky owner of a new Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+, we have some excellent news for you: the latest TWRP Recovery 3.1.0 for the handsets with Exynos chips under the hood is now available for downloading, allowing you to root the handset and customize it to a whole new level.
The process, which can be found below, is relatively easy and consists in just a few steps, therefore, if you want to install TWRP on Galaxy S8 and S8+, you’re in the perfect place! Just make sure you follow the instructions correctly and you should have no issues at all.
Since this is a relatively technical process, please consider the following aspects before starting the process, in order to avoid any problems:
- This method is just for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ with Exynos chips, specifically the S8 – G950F/FD/N/X and S8+ – G955F/FD/N/X models. Don’t try it on other variants, since it won’t work.
- The process will completely erase the data on your phone, so our advice is to take a full backup of the device, and just then proceed.
- Check the battery level and make sure it’s somewhere around 50-60%, so you can avoid an accidental shutdown, exactly in the middle of the process.
- Once again, follow the steps below carefully, making sure you don’t skip any of them.
