Sunday, February 26, will be a very important day for Huawei, as the Chinese manufacturer was a special pre-Mobile World Congress scheduled, where its latest flagship duo, consisting in the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus, will be unveiled, just ahead of the official opening of the show, in an attempt to steal the show and gather all the media’s attention towards them.
However, they’re not the first and last company to rely on such a strategy, since other brands, like Samsung, LG, Sony and many others did it before.
Of course, we’re looking forward to the event, since the two smartphones aren’t the only devices expected to make their debut!
Huawei will also introduce a new smartwatch on Sunday, as well as a completely new version of their custom user interface!
The manufacturer recently posted a teaser image on its official Weibo account, announcing fans about the release of EMUI 5.1, which will follow their previous release, EMUI 5.0, based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Unfortunately, no other details about the enhancement this new user interface will bring, but it’s pretty obvious that it will be featured on the Huawei P10 and P10 plus, two being the first devices to come with this version out of the box.
Obviously, other recent models, like the Mate 9 or even last year’s flagship, the Huawei P9, will receive the update over the air.
For the moment, this is everything we know about this, but we will be back with an update, as soon as anything new comes up!
