Earlier this summer, just a few months after the P9 was officially introduced, the rumours about its successor, the Huawei P10, started making the rounds online. Some sources were claiming that the handset will come with a few several differences, including a differently positioned fingerprint scanner, on the front of the device.
Confirming this rumour, in some way or another, the latest leaked images with a presumed Huawei P10 prototype, spotted on Weibo, reveal the back of the phone, which indeed lacks the fingerprint scanner, while the twin Leica snappers, with the 12 MP sensors, are present. Do we need to mention that this will once again be one of this phone’s main attractions? Thought so.
As for the front panel, the images reveal a couple of connectors on the bottom, about which we don’t know that much. However, let’s not forget that this is an early prototype, so the final variant might be a bit (or more) different.
Spec-wise, the Huawei P10 is expected to come with a 5.5″ display, featuring a QHD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, according to a GFXBench leak. Under the hood, it will most likely have the manufacturer’s own Kirin 960 SoC, with an octa-core configuration, clocked at 2.3 GHz, alongside the Mali-G71 GPU.
The handset could be available in two variants, one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage, as well as a 6 GB of RAM model, with 128 gigs of space. There’s nothing about the presence or the lack of a microSD card slot yet.
Once again, let’s not forget that there are still a few months left until the Huawei P10 will make its official debut, so there’s a high chance for this rumoured specs to change, the same thing going for the design. Still, we will be back on this topic as soon as anything new comes up!
