One of the handsets we’re looking forward to seeing at MWC 2017, in Barcelona, is the Huawei P10, expected to launch alongside a bigger version, the P10 Plus. If the Chinese manufacturer’s flagship was spotted in a render last week, it’s time to focus a bit on its bigger brother.
Until now, the only image with the Huawei P10 Plus we had was a front render, with a black finish, which is still better than nothing, but we couldn’t exactly see all sensors. However, a new render of the phablet made the rounds online today, this time with a golden finish, being just perfect for us to figure out a few extra details!
As you can see, there’s an iris scanner alongside the front-facing camera setup, somehow reminding us of the Galaxy Note 7, while the bottom bezel is housing a physical home button.
Initially, we thought that the Huawei P10 Plus will have an integrated fingerprint scanner in the home button, but it seems that the latter is placed on the back of the phone. Of course, two fingerprint scanners don’t make sense at all, so we’re excluding this scenario.
Another cool aspect about this phone is the curved display, similar to the one seen on the Mate 9 Pro. Oh, and it measures 5.5″ inches and it will, most likely, have a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Speaking about the Mate 9 Pro, there are a lot of similarities between these two handsets, so our guess would that they will be market-dependent.
Finally, we should also mention the ring-flash surrounding the laser assist sensor for auto focus, something that we saw in the previous leak!
There aren’t any details about the possible price of the Huawei P10 Plus, but it shouldn’t come for cheap, considering that the P10 is expected to start at $699.
