Few weeks ago, Huawei has announced its mid-range phone namely the NOVA Plus at IFA. For the consumers of Canada, the NOVA Plus is arriving on the October 18th and this device will be first available with Fido, Virgin Mobile, and Rogers.
The NOVA Plus is not one of the most powerful device offered by Huawei but it’s a nice pack of deal in the midrange market. This new device from Huawei offers a 5.5 inches Full HD display with 16 MP rear and 8 MP front camera. NOVA Plus is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor with a stunning 2.5D glass on the face and matte aluminum back that gives a premium feel.
Conversely, the success of this device primly depend on its pricing as there are a lot of mid rangers in the market that offers similar kind of specifications. Only problem with the NOVA Plus may face is the pricing as its priced at €430 in the European market which is approximately $480. And if that is going to be the price in Canada than it may not sell as the company expects as there are plenty of other smart devices available in that price range.
Other android smartphone players have many options in this price range for example Samsung offers Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 in this range with similar specs. And there are other smart brands like OnePlus offering OnePlus 3 device at $399 which as per my opinion is surely a powerful and batter device than the NOVA Plus.
The tech giant Huawei had a lot of disruptively priced device and yet the growth of the giant seems swift. Huawei has disrupted pricing of the market by offering many batter device with half price than other players and same strategy is being followed by other big brands like OnePlus and Xiaomi.
