A lot of new and interesting smartphones are expected to make their debut over the next weeks and the Huawei Mate 9 is one of them. The Chinese manufacturer’s new phablet is rumoured to become available starting with November 8, but like always, we already know a lot of details about it!
According to GSM Arena, a Weibo user managed to get his hands on a set of renders with the handset, which, if they are the real deal, give us a complete look at the devices.
Apparently, Huawei will release the Mate 9 in several colours, including pink, brown, silver and gold. Of course, all these colours will have specific names, as most manufacturers do.

This is not the first time details about the Huawei Mate 9 make the rounds online, as the phablet was previously spotted last month, while what seemed to be a promo image was also revealed a few weeks ago.
Moving on to the rumoured specs, it will come with a massive 6.0″ display, but with a poor resolution, of just 1920 x 1080. However, we’re still optimistic regarding this and hope that Huawei will load the device with a crispier panel.
Moving on, it’s going to be powered by the manufacturer’s own Kirin 960 chipset, alongside 4 GB of RAM and 64, 128 or even 256 GB of storage, expandable, thanks to the presence of a microSD card slot.
Lately, Huawei used us with some serious camera setups and the Mate 9 won’t be an exception, as it will feature dual 20 MP camera on the back, with optical image stabilization and Leica branding, just like the P9. On the front, it will sport an 8 MP sensor.
Finally, we expect a capable battery, probably with a capacity between 3500 and 4000 mAh, considering the size of the device. It will be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow, customised with the manufacturers EMUI interface.
