We’re already used to seeing leaked images with the upcoming Huawei Mate 9 lately and we’re not even mad, since the Chinese manufacturer’s phablet is expected to be one of the hottest devices of this fall, as well as a serious alternative to Samsung’s faulty Galaxy Note 7.
Ok, so we know that it will be available in two versions, one with a curved display and one with a flat one, measuring 5.9 inches. The latter has been spotted again online, confirming the form factor.
Moving on, some additional renders also confirm the dual-camera setup on the back. It seems that one sensor will have a resolution of 20 MP, while the second will stick to 12 MP. Again, it’s worth mentioning that the Leica branding, seen on the P9, isn’t present on the Huawei Mate 9, but according to some rumours it will be present on the handset, bringing optical zoom.
The Huawei Mate 9 will be launched tomorrow and it’s going to be powered by the manufacturer’s new Kirin 960 chip and run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. There aren’t any details about the battery, but it should have a pretty impressive capacity, considering the size of this phone.
