Huawei Honor V9 Officially Launched in China, Features Kirin 960 SoC, 6 GB RAM And 2K Display

Honor V9 is all set to go on sale, after being officially launched today in China. On the specs front, it possess everything that was specified in the TENAA listing earlier. It is the first one to be launched in the Honor 9 series and it is also believed that the Honor 9 would even be arriving in the upcoming months.

The Honor V9 comprises a wide range of excellent features, to impress us. Its touch screen display is 5.7 inches Quad HD one (2560X1440Px resolution), with a density of 515 ppi. The built is very attractive; the slim metal body, with slightly curved edges and larger bezels at the top and bottom renders a stylish look. It comes in varied color options, which adds up to its design quotient in further, such as Red, Blue and Gold.

 

It has arrived with the latest Kirin 960 Octa-Core processor registering 2.4GHz, along with Mali G71 MP8 GPU, as a highlighted feature. Additionally, it runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS, with an integrated EMUI 5.0 laid on top. Apart from this, it has marked its presence in three different variants based on the internal storage capacity and internal memory. Hence they are, 4 GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6 GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6 GB RAM with 64GB storage. However, the storage is expandable up to 128 GB via MicroSD card, in all the variants.

The phone is quite a bigger one, measuring the 157 X 77.5X 6.95 mm and weighs about 184 grams. The standard fingerprint sensor is also available and is located on the backside of the device. Talking about the cameras, it features a dual camera setup on the rear, where one is a 12 MP monochrome sensor and the other one is 12 MP RGB sensor. Up front, there is an 8 MP selfie shooter. In further, the device explores a range of connectivity options such as 4G, Wi-Fi802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, USB Type-C 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio port.

It supports a few authorized mobile payments, especially the Huawei Pay app. As far as pricing is concerned, the 4 GB RAM variant costs 2599 Yuan, 6GB RAM variants costs 2999 Yuan and 3499 Yuan for the 64GB and 128GB storages, respectively.
