Huawei always make it a point to bring out its hidden talent and heartfelt passion for being quite different from the other mobile companies. Yes, after launching the Honor 6A, now the company has revealed new products – the Honor Router X1 and Router X1 Plus. Hence, here are the next-gen routers that are ready to decorate your home.
The design of these devices is invariably different from the usual ones, for sure. Of course, the company is pretty clever in designing these two routers, because the Honor Router X1 has an innovative cube-shaped design, where all the ports are hidden on its back.
Further, the Honor Router X1 and Router X1 Plus have one up-link port, Ethernet ports, a 12V power jack and a reset button. While on the front, there is a LED light-up, which alerts the condition of router’s operations.
The Honor Router X1 supports, only the 2.4 GHz bands, cresting-up to 300bps. Whereas, the X1 Plus supports 5GHz bands, 802.11 ac MU-MIMO as well, since being enabled with a multi-device transceiver technology that peaks at 1167Mbps. We can surely be able to say that it is the main difference between the two routers.
In addition, both the devices are said to come with a built-in LPDC error correction algorithm that allows for stronger signals, even when too many obstacles such as walls, stands interfering it. What’s more! Huawei has also burst out a companion app, which can allow the customers to set up and configure the X1 and X1 Plus using their smartphones, at ease.
Finally, the Honor Router X1 and X1 Plus will be shipped from tomorrow onward in China with an official price tag of ¥99 ($15) and ¥149 ($22) respectively on Vmall.com, JD.com, and Tmall.com. Well, we don’t know whether the company would land these two routers in any regions apart from the Chinese market. Stay tuned to get more details!
