Huawei Honor 8 Lite Officially Launched in China, Kirin 655, Android Nougat And 12 MP Camera

The Huawei’s Honor 8 Lite, as it has been officially announced today at an event. We are quite familiar about this smartphone, as it was already spotted in a Finland-based site’s listing. Hopefully, today will be an unforgettable day for the Huawei, as this new model would potentially be one of the best-selling device in near future.

According to the official announcements, the Honor 8 Lite will have a 12-layers of mirror coating on top, to give a glowing superior look. Moreover, the curved glass above the 5.2-inches 1080p touchscreen display, complements the shiny backside of the device. To further complement its looks, the Honor 8 Lite comes in 4 different color options such as Streamer Gold, Sea Blue, Midnight Black and Pearl White.


Talk about its specs, it packs a 4GB RAM, with 64GB of internal storage capacity, under the hood. However, though its looks are promising, the Kirin 655 processor it features, gives it a mid-ranger impression; as in comparison with the other flagship, Honor 8 that came with a powerful Kirin 950 chipset.

Getting onto it features in further, the phone is equipped with a decent camera setup, comprising a 12MP f/2.2 aperture shooter at the rear and an 8MP camera on the front for selfie. Finally, here comes the highlights of the device: It runs on the new Android Nougat version 7, based on EMUI 5.0;  a 3,000mAh battery; a fingerprint scanner at the back; and the memory storage is expandable up to 128GB.

About the pricings, it starts at 1099 Y ($160) for 3GB RAM+32GB Storage, 1399 Y ($203) for 4GB RAM+32GB Storage and 1599 Y ($232) for 4GB RAM+64GB Storage.
