HTC U First Look Leaked By Evan Blass on his Twitter Account

As a matter of fact, the Taiwanese Company, HTC has had the tendency of revitalizing its mid-range line-up, to regain the market share. Since, after announcing the two great device, HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play in February, we’ve always been reminding that there will be at least one more device to be added up in the series.

Now a new leaked image has surfaced online that clearly shows off the first look of the HTC U, the next iteration of the U series, which is also known as the HTC Ocean. Yes, the famous American phone leaker, Evan Blass has buzzed the front and back poses of the HTC U, via his Twitter account.

Well, we cannot expect the HTC U to look much different from its Siblings, because the leaked image of the phone retains the same liquid surface design, like the HTC U Ultra. But, while taking a closer look, the edges of the Black HTC U, it seems to be more curved than its successors.

Furthermore, there is a round fingerprint sensor, instead of the square one, like in the HTC U Ultra. This time, the rear-facing camera has strongly been settled on the right side of the phone. Alternatively, the LED Flash has captured its place on the left side.

The most highlighted feature that is expected in the HTC U, is the ‘touch sensitive frame’. This feature will apparently allow you to perform some customizable actions using signs, like squeezing the device or swiping along its left and right sides. Yet, it does not mean that the U, will lack a Physical Home Button. To be Precise, the image has displayed both the physical Home Button and the fingerprint sensor.

According to the specs list, the HTC U is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch 2k display; Snapdragon 853 Processor; 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage; 12-megapixel rear camera with the IMX362 sensor; and 16 MP front camera with the IMX351 sensor.

Finally, the upcoming flagship, will run on Android 7.1 Nougat. Though, there aren’t any official words, from the company, regarding the released date, it is expected to land in the month of April or May.
