Taiwanese Smartphone manufacturer, HTC, has joined other tech companies to make a name for itself for the 2017 ride as it has gone bold to announce its new smartphones between CES and MWC.
With just two days ahead of the event, new information about HTC’s new smartphones has surfaced as the Taiwanese company has set January 12 for the unveiling of the HTC Alpine (HTC U Play), HTC Ocean Note also known as HTC U Ultra and the HTC E66 (HTC X10).
The HTC U Play device which is set to be launched in about two days is a mid-range smartphone to open the play of the New Year. The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch screen with full HD display running on the Helio P10 chipset. The smartphone is fitted with 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB. For the camera, the smartphone promises 16MP rear camera both rear and front.
The HTC U Play will be packed with a 2,500mAh battery with the fingerprint sensor positioned on the front panel. However, the device will not sport the usual 3.5mm audio jack as featured in HTC 10 evo (HTC Bolt).
The HTC U Ultra also known as the HTC Ocean Note also to be launched on January 12 goes bigger on the screen size with a 6.0-inch QHD screen packed with the newest Qualcomm 10 nm chipset Snapdragon 835 by Qualcomm.
The HTC U Ultra packs 4GB of RAM and is fitted with 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone is fitted with a 16MP camera on the front and a 24MP plus 13MP camera on the back panel. Unlike the U Play, the HTC U Ultra packs a 4,000 mAh battery with fingerprint sensor on the back. This also lacks the usual 3.5mm audio jack.

The HTC X10 is, however, different from the U Play and the U Ultra as it packs with the design the 3.5mm audio jack lacking in the other devices. It also sports a 5.5-inch display and runs on the Mediatek’s Helio P10 chipset with 3GB of RAM.
