Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has slated the India launch of its Honor 8 Pro on Thursday, July 6th. Well, the specs and features of the phone were shrewdly publicized, while it was launched in Europe recently. But however, when it comes to India, the pricing details remains uncertain. A new leak has emerged today to clarify it, with just days ahead for the India launch.
For a quick recall, back in April, when the phone was launched in Europe, it held a price tag of EUR 549, which is barely close to INR 39,500. But, sourcing from Hindustan times, the report hints that the Honor 8 Pro is priced at INR 29,999 for the 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage variant. Thus, all the Indian folks should be lucky, as this price is somewhat pretty good, comparatively.
Furthermore, the phone has already been confirmed to be an Amazon India exclusive. The phone sports a 5.7-inch LTPS LCD display, with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and gauges 157 x 77.50 x 6.97 mm in dimensions and weighs about 184 grams. Specs-wise, it’s powered by a Kirin 960 processor, coupled with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB built-in storage that is expandable up to 256 GB.
Further, the rear camera comes with a 12 MP sensor with laser auto focus, LED flash, f/2.2 focusing speed and is capable of capturing 4K videos. Upfront there is an 8MP camera for snapping selfies, with f/2.0 aperture. It also packs a 4000 mAh battery and a rear fingerprint sensor, running on Android 7.0 Nougat, overlaid with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 UI.
The smartphone looks very pretty as it comes in Midnight Black and Navy Blue color options in India. The connectivity options includes USB Type-C, Bluetooth, infrared sensors, dual-SIM, 4G LTE and NFC.
