In yesterday’s event, Google announced a lot of things and one among many is, Google Pixelbook 2-in-1 Notebook, which comes with Stylus support. The notebook holds a 10.33mm thickness with the weight just 1.1kg, along with the 12.3-inch Quad HD LCD touchscreen display and Aluminum Unibody design. Now, another most interesting feature is the notebook comes with rotatable hinges, which ultimately allows the notebook to rotate at 360 degrees.
This Pixelbook is powered by 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 or i7 processor, which stands to provide blazing fast browsing and gaming experience. As far as other specifications are concerned, the notebook comes with 8/16GB RAM, 128/256/512GB SSD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Backlit Keyboard, Web Cam (supports 720p), 3-Axis Gyroscope Sensor, USB Type C and 3.5mm jack.
Now, coming to the power consumption, Google says that the notebook can give 10 hours of backup from one full charge. Additionally, the battery also supports fast charging and can give up to 2 hours of usage in just 15 minutes of charge. Now, one more thing to notice here is, the charging port in the notebook is USB Type C, same as the Pixel Phones, which means a single charging adaptor can work for both Pixelbook and Pixel phone.
Another thing which makes this Pixelbook stand unique in the crowd is the Google Assistant support. Similar to smartphones, we have to just say “OK Google” and the Google Assistant will come up for the help. However, there is also a dedicated button to activate the Google Assistant. This Pixelbook can also smartly connect to the Pixel phone’s mobile data, once it loses Wi-Fi connection.
As far as pricing is concerned, the lower variant of Pixelbook gets a price tag of $999 and will be available first in the US, Canada, and the UK. Pre-orders have already started for all variants and the sale will start from October 31.
