Googles next plan, the Pixel 2 seem to have found its way online as renders of the smartphones have surfaced online giving information and what to expect of the next device.
The renders which surfaced online earlier today suggested that the smartphone in question is possibly the Google Pixel 2, the expected successor to the Google Pixel which came in to replace the line of Google Nexus smartphones.
The replacement happened last year and this will be the second birth after the launch of the Google Pixel.
According to the renders, the Google Pixel 2 will tow the design path of other 2017 smartphones to feature a smaller bezel on both the top and bottom parts of the smartphone. The smartphone however looks to feature two speaker grills according to the render and they are adequately fitted bellow the display which suggests that the Google Pixel 2 will be fitted with stereo speakers.
In line with the earlier design, the smartphone features the regular power an volume keys on the side but ditches the rockers to taunt a button control which separates the volume buttons. The rear panel of the device also got a face lift as it looks significantly different compared to its predecessor. It sports a large chamfered edge, a glass back and a camera aligned to the center.
The bottom part of the device taunts a USB Type-C port which is pretty much expected and a 3.5 mm jack which is a surprising move from Google. Other specs expected of the device include the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor which it is expected to feature. Release date has been projected for October, 2017 or later.
