There have been so many leaks and rumors surrounding the upcoming Google phones, namely the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Now, here comes a freshly leaked information that reveals a clearer outlook of the devices. Yes, their CAD renders along with a video has been emerged, sourcing from the Twitter leakster, @ONLeaks.
Well, as mentioned the newly leaked renders are based on the company’s computer-aided designs, which provides a handful of information about the layout of the device.
With respect to the Twitter leaks, the dimension is said to be around 145.3×69.3×7.8mm (8.2mm with the camera hunch) for the Pixel 2. And for the Pixel 2 XL, the dimension is roughly 157.6×76.3×7.9mm (8.6mm with camera hunch).
Besides the dimensions, according to the CAD renders, the upcoming phones seems to be significantly bezel less, when put into comparison with their predecessors. The renders have the devices in Black color, while multiple color options are expected, while its official launch. Sadly, we couldn’t see a dual-camera setup and 3.5mm headphone jack, on both the phones.
To our surprise, both the devices are rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm’s upcoming chipset, Snapdragon 836; and will run on Android 8.0. As far as the launch date is concerned, the Googles’ are expected to be staged later this year. It could probably be the oncoming October, since the company brought out its predecessors, back in last year’s October.
Till now, we haven’t got any information about these two phones officially. So, we’ll have to wait for a long while, to know what they actually carry.
