Google is expected to release its new Google Nexus devices in about one-two months, but it seems that a leaked photo of the code named “Sailfish” model has surfaced on the internet and now we know how it will look like.
Google is expected to release two Nexus smartphones that are code named Sailfish (the smaller variant) and Marlin (the phablet variant). These two next-gen handsets will be manufactured by HTC and will most likely come with many common features.
AndroidPolice.com has posted a photo with what seems to be the upcoming Google Nexus Sailfish, which is expected to come with a 5-inch display and even if the leaked photo doesn’t have the best quality, it still proves that the upcoming handset is not going to look like any of the older Nexus devices.
As you can see in the picture above, the Google Nexus Sailfish has a two-tone, grey and black appearance. In addition, the device comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back and it’s located below the rear camera. According to some recent rumors, the Google Nexus Sailfish would actually be a plastic-made device. However, according to Android Police, both the Sailfish and Marlin devices that will be released by Google this fall will be made of metal.
Both the Google Nexus Sailfish and Marlin will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and will feature a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB. As we’ve told you above, the Google Nexus Sailfish will feature a 5-inch display, but the Google Nexus Marlin is expected to come with a bigger display size of 5.5-inch and a more powerful battery.
Will you purchase the Google Nexus Sailfish when it will hit the stores or you will rather go with the Google Nexus Marlin because it comes with a bigger display size?
