Google Android 7.0 Nougat Final (5th Beta) Developer Preview Coming Soon

If you like Android then you are one of the many people who are waiting to get their hands on the new Android 7.0 Nougat.  It was promised several months ago and the preview is already available.  You probably find it by using Google.   Here is something new and you might want to jump for joy as Google is done with the preview and they have announced the final preview release.  Things are looking pretty good and soon we are going to get our hands on the latest Android.  If you are excited about the release then you might want to know that this is the fifth and hopefully the final beta for Android 7.0 Nougat.

The preview would take place this coming summer and if things are right and nothing goes wrong, we might get one sooner than we think.  This is earlier than most Android releases since most of them happen later in the year.  If this final release is indeed successful then we might get our hands on the Android 7.0 Nougat soon.  Pretty much excited with that part since I am among the people, who are waiting for the release and it would be a great pleasure if I could take part of the said event.

If you are ready for the final preview, but didn’t know what to expect then you are damn right to come to this blog as this is some of the things that you can expect to see on the final preview.

  • It would feature the system images and other preview devices from Nexus and other companies.
  • An emulator would help you to use the final apps to make sure that this is what you want.
  • You can expect the final here probably a final N APIs (API level 24) and latest system behaviors and UI.
  • By now, most of the bugs have been fixed and we can expect to see some optimization all over the system and in some pre-installed apps.

If you ever want to take part of the preview, you need to make sure that your app can handle it because the system behavior changes might take a toll on your app and it might crash.  Some of the changes that we can expect are the Doze on the Go, screen zoom, background optimizations, permissions changes, and more.  If you are looking for more, it has some developer feature that you might want to try to for yourself.   To give you an example of such; it has as Direct Reply, Multi-window support, and other notifications enhancements,  new emojis, Direct boot and more.

This sure is pretty exciting stuff and if you are excited about it, you should take part of that event.  Though, it would be earlier than expected, for sure, no one would get angry about that as they would probably be happy about it.  However, the update on your phone won’t be available till the OEM thinks that it is time.  Anyway, the final preview update is really one of those events that you might want to take part of.
