The upcoming Gionee S9 is expected to make its debut on November 15, but a set of live images with the handset were already spotted online, revealing a couple of very interesting features.
It seems that the Chinese manufacturer’s handset will be a selfie-centred one, since it will come with a front-facing LED flash, something that you don’t see on many smartphone nowadays.
Besides this, the Gionee S9 will feature a full metal design, while on the back, it will come with a dual-camera setup, rumoured to have 13 MP and 5 MP sensors. Also, the front-facing camera will be the main attraction of this smartphone, rocking a 13 MP sensor.
Moving on, we can see a physical Home button on the front, which, most likely, is housing a fingerprint scanner.
As for the specs, we know pretty much everything about the Gionee S9, as it was previously certified for sale in China, by TENAA. To be more specific, we’re talking about a 5.5″ display, with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Under the hood, it features a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, alongside 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Finally, the battery will have a capacity of 3000 mAh, while the operating system should be Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
