Gionee has just released two smartphone models that appear to be very secure and also very big: the Gionee M6 and the Gionee M6 Plus.
The Gionee M6
This one is the smaller of the two and it sports a 5.5 inch AMOLED display, 4 GB of RAM three variants of storage space: 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. The Gionee M6 features an octa-core processor at 1.8 GHz and it also has a fingerprint reader and a 13 MP dual LED flash camera. In terms of battery, it boasts a huge 5.000 mAh one that should keep it charged for many days.
The Gionee M6 Plus
This smartphone is more akin to a phablet than a phone with a crazy 6 inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution. It comes with 4 GB or RAM and only 64 GB for storage.
If you’re guessing that the battery is something massive, you’re right. The M6 Plus sports an enormous 6.020 mAh one. Moreover, it supports reverse charging like the smaller M6 does. Apart from these differences, the two phones are also different when it comes to chipsets; the M6 Plus is faster because it sports a 2GHz octa-core processor.
The similarities between them relate to the security aspect: both have a security chip that offers 10 layers of protection for personal info. Another security feature is the fingerprint reader that is found on both of the devices. It should be noted that neither of these two devices has a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Gionee M6 and the Gionee M6 Plus will first be launched in China but they are expected to be launched in other countries as well. So far, there is no official info regarding the prices for the two devices on the dates when they will actually become available for purchase.
