Gionee A1, A1 Plus Launched Officially At MWC, Featured Selfie-Centric And Bigger Batteries

The Gionee A1 and A1 Plus have been officially launched at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona, on Monday. These are the very first phones coming out in the company’s new A-Series and hopefully, going to be one of the best smartphones from the Gionee’s, this year. The cost of these phones yet to be revealed, however the company has declared that the Gionee A1 will be available by this March and A1 Plus will be out this April.

The best things about that they have got long-running batteries and superior selfie shooters. The Gionee A1 packs a 4,010mAh battery, whereas the Gionee A1 Plus has got a 4,550mAh battery; and both of them are enabled with the Gionee’s new 18W – Ultrafast Charging technology that get them fully charged in just 2 hours.

Coming to the cameras, as mentioned both the devices has got an exceptional selfie camera. The Gionee A1 features a 16MP on the front, while the Gionee A1 Plus sports a flash enabled 20MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.0, and 1/2.8-inch sensor. On the rear part, the A1 Plus has a dual camera setup with 5MP and 13MP sensors, with f/2.0 aperture and 1/3.06-inch sensor. The flash unit integrated here, comes along with an IR remote control sensor too. However, the A1 sports just a 13MP rear camera.

Both the new smartphones exhibits a dual-SIM support and they run on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The A1 Plus adopts a 6-inch full-HD display, with a resolution of 1080 X 1920 pixels, in its 166.4 X 83.3 X 9.1mm body, weighing 226 grams. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 SoC along with 4GB of RAM and offers a 64GB of inbuilt storage space that is expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card. Its connectivity options, include 4G and is available in Gray, and Mocha Gold color options.

On the other hand, the Gionee A1 has a 5-inch full-HD (1080 X 1920 pixels) display, which is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC; with that, it has a 64GB of internal storage space that is expandable up to 256GB through microSD card. It weighs about 182 grams and measures 154.5 X 76.5 X 8.5mm.
